The 2013 Delta Birddog reunion was a complete success.

Once again we gathered together to celebrate life, our victories, our defeats, and to remember our Comrades-in-Arms that have made that final flight into the sunset.

The Reunion was held Thursday, 26 September 2013 to  Sunday, 29 September 2013. 

The Reunion was held at the South Shore Harbor Resort located in League City, Texas just a few miles from Houston and only a thirty minute drive from the Island City of Galveston, Texas. 

Many activities took place during the reunion with the highlight being the tour to the Houston Space Center. Of course for the ladies there was a wonderful shopping trip. 

Please take the time to thank Don Smith as he chaired the reunion. He did a wonderful job and the reunion was one of the best we have held. We took up a collection for Don and Renate Smith to show our appreciation for all his efforts toward the reunion. If you haven’t personally thanked him, please take a moment to drop him an e-mail or a card. As many of you know this was the last reunion attended by his lovely wife Renate. She passed awat after the reunion and will be sadly missed by all her family and friends in the Delta Birdog Reunion. 

I would also like the time to thank all of the volunteers that helped in every aspect of the reunion. There is always so much to do and so little time and volunteers. . Without the efforts of these wonderful people the reunion would not have been as good as it was.
